Hello guys, In this post I will be discussing some minor mechanical engineering project for third semester. As I am writing this post I am student of final year in mechanical engineering at Chandigarh university. This all project are made at low cost of money and you did not need high skills for making this project. So, here is a list of some minor mechanical engineering project which are available at low cost.
1. AUTOMATIC PORTABLE HAMMERING MACHINE :-
Hammering is the most important used industrial as well as construction activity. Hammering or screws, metal sheets, parts etc requires a lot of time and effort. So here we propose an automated hammering system that allows for fully automatic hammering process.

2. OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE ROBOTIC VEHICLE :-
The robotic vehicle is designed to track and avoid obstacles that comes on his way. This vehicle achieves this smart functionality with the help of ultrasonic sensors coupled with an 8051 microprocessor and motors. The entire system combined gives the vehicle an intelligent object detection and obstacle avoidance scheme

3. AUTOMATIC MECHANICAL GARAGE DOOR OPENER :-
The fully automatic mechanical garage door opener is good project that will made at low cost. This project consist of fabricated door belt, pulley, connecting rods, fixtures, mounts, motor and supporting frame.

4. MINI CONVEYOR USING GENEVA MECHANISM :-
The geneva mechanism is a system to convert continuous circular motion into fixed step circular motion. Geneva mechanism requires a rising circular connector which used above the rotating disc to lock between slots in the geneva wheel and drive it. So here we propose a conveyer belt that moves products at regular time intervals, as needed by many automation lines.
